About Us

We both like old stuff, but prefer mid-century - like 40s-60s; cars, motorcycles, houses, furniture, movies, gardens. We have heirlooms and hand-me-downs that date to that era and fit our house just fine.

He's a bit of a collector (old vehicles, radio/electronics). I cook, garden, plan vacations and think up home improvements. Even my gardening tastes reflect mid-century sensibilities - peonies, roses, flowering shrubs, iris, black-eyed susans & daisies - basically the old-fashioned flowers I grew up with.
